Tasted by dbkitc. This magnum was in a weird place. There is a lot of material in this big, brooding wine. It hints at the old school elements typically found in wines from VD, but also shows a lot of ripeness and an unnerving, disjointed acidity on the mid palate. Needs some time to round out. I assume it will. (90) (90 pts.) - Tasted 2/23/2020.
Tasted by Fowlers. Rich, velvety, tons of dark fruit and very distinct star anise, cinnamon like spice notes. Sensational with steak. Decanted / aerated 1-2hrs before drinking (96 pts.) - Tasted 2/23/2020.
Tasted by Dj6544. More modern in style than the ‘15 with a denser fruit presence and heavier oak presence. Still fragrant with reasonably firm tannin at the end but noticeably less feminine than the ‘15. (89 pts.) - Tasted 2/23/2020.
Tasted by WoodieBayArea. nice, but just a little standoffish due to structure... not sure about whether this structure could retreat over the next four years and allow the wine to become a true star (like so many of my old Faiveley CdC bottles)... I only had this one bottle and I'm not going to take a chance... will look to other vintages (91 pts.) - Tasted 2/23/2020.
Tasted by Grenik. This wine is drinking great right now but is continuing to improve. Red fruit profile but with nice forest and stone notes. Great complexity and the wine is balanced with a medium finish. (94 pts.) - Tasted 2/23/2020.
Tasted by steefbeef. (91 pts.) - Tasted 2/23/2020.
Tasted by emoyzes. Disappointed relative to bottle I had a few years ago. Strong sour note permeated throughout overpowering all else. Wonder if post its prime? (89 pts.) - Tasted 2/23/2020.
Tasted by beatles. Stunning wine. Tasted over two days, no detectable change overnight. This is the essence of both Pegau and 2010, a cool ironfist, lots of minerals, beef blot and effortless balance here. Absolutely singing, enter, ladies and gentlemen, the Tiki-Bar is open. 96+ point (96 pts.) - Tasted 2/23/2020.
Tasted by cadamson. Pretty consistent with my note of 7/27/2019. Quite good. Great with a bunch of appetizers, especially the smoked meats. - Tasted 2/23/2020.

Tasted by joshabramson. Drank at La Grenouille in NYC. Wonderful, ripe, elegant, drinking beautifully. (96 pts.) - Tasted 2/23/2020.
Tasted by Barry Rothof. Disgorged 30.01.2019 | Young and concentrated with deeply toned yellow fruit, a strong fine mousse, good precision, bright acidity, limestone mineral with a hint of brioche and oxidative note at the end. (93 pts.) - Tasted 2/23/2020.
Tasted by DannyB1991. Again, a scary bottle immediately after opening - brown color, raisin nose, overripe taste. Only after two hours in the decanter did it become approachable - interesting cherry on the mid-palate. After three hours, as an accompaniment to a tomahawk steak, it was excellent - classic notes of leather and tobacco, and a long finish. After four hours, it seemed somewhat subdued, though very pleasant, finish not as long as I would hope. If you have this, my advice is drink soon, decant at least three hours, and have it with steak or lamb. - Tasted 2/23/2020.

Tasted by MC2 Wines. Again drinking well and very enjoyable. This is on the younger side and I think could use some more time. Especially true when comparing to the '85 which was in a really lovely spot. - Tasted 2/22/2020.
Tasted by wineismylife. WIML92 Tasted non blind. Garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking throughout. Nose of smoke, white pepper, berries and plums. Flavors of raspberries, berries and plums. Bright acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink over the short term. Tom's Birthday (92 pts.) - Tasted 2/22/2020.
Tasted by Riesling_tba. Great wine showing the full bandwidth of a Chambolle-Musigny over three hours. First, just open up and poured to go along with oeuf meurette at the restaurant of William Frachot. The light acidity of the wine was just the perfect pairing with this beautiful starter. Then, two hours later, it developed nicely having a great warm, firm body with an elegant fruity taste supported by a discrete acid structure beneath. Fantastic with the poularde de Bresse. Not sure if this wine gets better. Sure it will change its character over the years. But it drinks very well, right now! (93 pts.) - Tasted 2/22/2020.
Tasted by pernod. Deep red, orange edge, long thin drops. Black currant, leather, undergrowth, black cherry, vanilla. Black cherry, powdery tannins / gunpowder, oak, vanilla, undergrowth. Ripe tannins, fresh fruit, decent acidity, great balance. Lovely wine. (93 pts.) - Tasted 2/22/2020.
Tasted by noni15. (93 pts.) - Tasted 2/22/2020.
Tasted by drwine2001. Garnet color. Sappy, medium weight. Superb ripe red fruit and tobacco, no heat or overextraction. Actually quite beautiful balance that should carry it for another decade. Well constituted, fine tannic underpinning. - Tasted 2/22/2020.
